Problematiche

So I got my Soviet Zenit Kristall film SLR, and got some Ilford HP5+ film, and went out to shoot. I liked the feeling of it, and how every shot I took had to be though through. I liked the prime, and the old feeling lens, and the small size. Well now I've gotten used to it a bit and today I got baffled by the beautiful BW prints I got. The grain is fantastic and it's all so sharp and I think I might stick with this a while longer. While scanning my 6x4 prints I got a little bit of a problem. I think it's with my scanner but the pictures are coming out horribly low quality and all tattered and ugly. I think it's alright for display though I'

Well I'm back and I'm up at 5 in the morning because of jet lag. I uploaded some more photos from Japan, though I suppose more will come with time as well. It was really fun and I return with the feeling that it's the best country in the world. Moving on. When I started out with my street photography, 99% of my photographs were BW'ed in the post processing stage because every time I just checked how it would look in monochrome, the photo looked too irresistible pretty and emotional to not keep it that way. I arrived and am jet lagged. My sleeping patterns have nothing to do with the rising and setting of the sun, but oh well. Am going around photographing and perhaps at one point will be able to upload some photos, though it might have to wait till I'm back home in two weeks. Got myself a 60's Russian SLR, Zenit Kristall. It's very pretty and I've been getting used to it. Photos will come as soon as possible, and I'm expecting something very interesting. So long, I'm off to the Fish Market.
